Negative pH

Hey, guys. Josh Fanene of Negative pH here. Many of you NpH fans have been drawn to the music that your online hero personas can "slay to". However, in light of a recent world event, people in the Pacific communities are in dire need of your real-world heroism -- offline.

On September 29, 2009 tragedy struck as a tsunami triggered by an 8.0 magnitude earthquake washed over the island of American Samoa. The village of Leone, situated on the southwestern side of the island was hit hardest, as was Pago Pago, the island's capital in the southeast. Sadly, several members of my own clan and extended family were taken by the tsunami and there are many stories of other families coping with their own hardships:


Right away we donated $500, but it's clear more financial assistance is needed there. So, in an effort to raise funds to assist those affected by this disaster Negative pH is asking fans and visitors to our site to consider making a modest donation of at least $2.00.

If it's a choice between donating to a charity this year and buying our music, then, we urge you to make a donation instead. You'll feel so much better about it and will be a real hero doing a worthy and noble deed.
